Kei Hagiwara is the speedy offensive dynamo with eye-catching skill but is oftentimes overlooked due to his size. What Hagiwara lacks in size he makes up for in skill. The Toronto Marlboros center is a fantastic skater and has above average abilities in most aspects of his game. He is a sneaky player who aggravates the opposition. Using his speed, he is always around the puck and will battle hard to sneak in and strip defenders of the puck in order to create a scoring chance. In addition to his speed, Hagiwara's movement on the ice is also at a high-calibre. He can change his direction quickly and cut in to drive to the net smoothly beating defenders before they have a chance to catch him. He has quick hands and can dazzle with the puck on his stick but due to his size he is not always the toughest player to knock the puck away from.
