A swift moving, playmaking center Kieran Litterick is someone to watch for. Recently moved from the wing over to center Kieran has quickly adjusted and exceeded at his new position. His positioning in the offensive zone is pristine and allows him to move the puck around. He sees the ice incredibly well and puts the puck where his teammates are going to be not where they are. He sets up his teammates for easy goals and can cycle the puck. His skills are very useful on the powerplay, his ability to play the wing in center gives his coaches and team flexibility and being a right hand shot can set up to take one timers from the right side. He has great skating and hands which allow him to create space for his teammates and lead breakouts when he needs to. Kieran has a good shot that he is working on using more. He can pick rebounds and put them in. He uses his height, agility and a high hockey IQ to win puck battles down low and in front of his net. Kieran is responsible in his defensive zone as well, offering a high IQ and a willingness to get in front of shots and break up passing lanes. He forces the puck to the outside and battles hard to get the puck back for his team. This is evident as well on both the backcheck and forecheck where he uses his stick on stick strength to try and regain the puck. With the puck in his defensive zone he has the vision to find a breaking out winger and the IQ to know when to carry it and lead the rush. As Kieran continues to grow as a center, his playmaking ability and vision will allow him to blossom into a stellar player at the next level.
