With a great athletic build, Kohl Millitz is an intriguing prospect. The 15-year old winger has all the means to become an impact player at the next level. Millitz has great speed which makes him hard to stop on the break or in transition. With his fast paced style of play, Millitz makes it difficult for defenses to keep up and makes use of his solid wrister from anywhere in the offensive zone. Millitz is a scorer by nature, able to repeatedly get shots on net and more often than not, buries them. Millitz’ capabilities as a playmaker are also lucrative as his puck handling ability is stellar. With all these assets to his offensive game, Millitz has a high ceiling as a goal scorer at the next level. On the other side of the puck Millitz has his clear strengths but also some glaring weaknesses. Millitz has an active stick and plays the passing lanes exceptionally well, causing disruption on the puck wherever it is on the ice. Millet does however tend to shy away from physical contact. While physicality may not be a focal point of his game, Millet will need to learn how to better utilize his size and strength to become a more dynamic player which will ultimately lead him to becoming a more complete offensive player.
