One of the top goalies in the 2022 OHL draft, Landon Miller is already at the size that he wouldn’t even look out of place. Miller is an extremely consistent goalie, being able to move very well thanks to his speed and athleticism. This makes Miller very odd considering his size, which he has been learning to not only rely on that aspect. Miller displays amazing lateral movements, which are crucial for him when it comes to making big plays. Miller has amazing positioning as well, and squares up to the puck, making himself look bigger in the net as he shifts around. Miller is a very calm goalie and plays very relaxed, never panicking or scrambling for a puck, making him a solid and reliable goalie to have in crunch time scenarios, overtimes and shootouts. All around, Miller displays above-average abilities with his stick, gloves, and legs, being able to close his five-hole quickly and controlling the rebound well. Miller is known to be a rather vocal goaltender with his defenders, allowing him to direct the defensive zone play. Away from the ice, Miller is an extremely outgoing person and a very fun person to be around with an excellent work ethic to boot. At the 2022 OHL draft, Miller will likely be one of the first goaltenders to come off the board, where he could possibly step into the OHL immediately or at least challenge for a spot. Miller could likely develop into one of the top OHL goalies by the time he wraps up his junior career.
