Despite his smaller stature, right shooting forward, Landon Wright, really doesn’t seem like he cares about it at all. A newer member to the Cyclones roster after moving from Quinte last season, Wright already displays some insane skills night in and night out. Wright has exceptional vision on the ice, and plays a very hard two way game, where he can be seen giving it 110% at both ends of the ice. Wright also brings a bullet of a shot to the table as well as a quick release. Wright sponges to learn more about the game. One of the most impressive things about Wright however, is his ability in 1 on 1 scenarios, where he has been seen displaying Connor McDavid like moves to beat and get around his opponent. This could possibly attract a lot of attention to Wright, as a playstyle with components that can be seen in the likes of players like McDavid could draw eyes towards Wright. OHL wise, Wright could find success following his current path, working hard as a two way player, as well as busting out his moves to catch his opponents off guard and get a crowd cheering. Wright is certainly a player to watch as the draft grows closer.
