A natural winger in the GTHL, Luc Warner is amongst some of the best available wingers at the 2022 OHL draft. Warner, who was able to put up a 33 point regular season in the G was one the players invited to the GTHL Top Prospects game earlier this year, where his skillset was truly on display. Warner tends to compare himself to Josh Anderson, of the Montreal Canadiens, due to his more fiery style of play. Thanks to his large frame, Warner is an extremely effective play driving forward, who is capable of using his physical presence to push the game towards a more acceptable outcome. Being able to use his size and physicality to muscle guys around and drive the game will be what truly makes Warner stand out in the future, as this style could make him a highly valuable part of any teams top 9 group, where he could serve as a third line checking forward, or a top 6 complimentary piece, who can create space for the other star players on his team.
