Left shooting defender, Luke Jarmin, has been a player that had been overlooked for a long time during his career in Quinte, however he is now showing what he is capable of. Jarmin is a beautiful skater, which serves as his main strength when on the ice. He is a very polite, humble, and friendly young man, however he is also a bit quiet. Jarmin is a farm boy, a lifestyle that he can use heavily for his growth as a player, as one of the key things he needs to work on is to grow and bulk up more. This would also be beneficial as the other big thing Jarmin needs to work on is developing a heavier shot, which could create many chances if it is fired off from the blue line. If Jarmin can get both of these figured out, he could turn into a pretty good offensive threat. With his smooth skating and a newly acquired, hard shot, Jarmin could end up transitioning into a solid offensive defenseman if he pursues that style, or could work on all his skills and serve as a more two way player. Only time will tell for Jarmin, but with the upside that he has, Jarmin could end up as a hidden gem not once, but twice in his career.
