With the departure of many top names in Grey-Bruce, defenseman Luke Millsap has established himself as one of the team's top defensemen. Millsap serves as part of the team's leadership group, sporting an A on his jersey. This can be seen in the way he plays, where he battles hard in his own zone to keep his opponents at bay. Millsap is your traditional stay at home defenseman, and is known for being an extremely responsible player in his own zone, and blocking tons of shots. With this said, Millsap would benefit greatly from working more on his foot speed, helping him to be a bit more of a mobile defensive defender. With the OHL draft in 2022 right around the corner, Millsap is getting prepared to find himself on a new team, with him likely going in the mid to late rounds of the draft. Regardless, Millsap could prove to be a solid option for a team who wants a strong, defensive defender that can clog lanes and block shots, being a highly reliable player. While it’s really too early to judge what Millsap could be, he looks to be more of a project player that has upside, so he could be an alluring choice for a current contender that will be rebuilding in the near future.
