A versatile high scoring forward is lethal in the offensive zone with the puck on his stick. Marcus, known around the league for his goal scoring ability, has one of the best snapshots in the league that’s hard and accurate. If he sees an open shooting lane he will run with it and more often than not put the puck in the back of your net. His release is deceptive and hard to tack and he changes his angle a lot. Marcus is also developing his playmaking skills, he has great vision but often still decides to shoot instead. As he learns to utilize his teammates more frequently he will only get better offensively. In his own zone Marcus is great. He supports and covers for his defenders as well as breaks up developing plays. He works hard to battle for the puck and get it out of zone and isn’t afraid to use his body if need be. Marcus plays all situations for his team, powerplay and penalty kill included. He is on the ice both defending a lead or needing a goal late in the game and is a known leader. As he continues to grow as a player Marcus Ochyrum has the potential to be a special goal scoring forward.
