Crafty players are becoming more and more frequent in the NHL these days. The game is getting quicker and with that having quick hands combined with goal scoring ability is needed. Nash Giles is the player described above. With a play style compared to Auston Matthews and Patrick Kane, Nash is a very good skater with phenomenal hands and a goal scoring touch. In the offensive zone Nash excels down low, in tight spaces he is able to use his hands to create room for himself and find a way to get to the slot or high danger places to put the puck into the back of the net. He positions himself in the offensive zone to find the puck and put in rebounds but also positions himself to be an option for his teammates and cycle the puck around and create high danger scoring chances for his teammates. In his own zone Nash is still developing like most young players. He is working on how to position himself and when to chase and when to stay back watching his man. When he has the puck in his zone, he uses his speed to get down the ice and his hands to move around opponents and create odd man rushes. He is a big part of his teams special teams and is a threat on the powerplay. As he continues to develop his 200 foot game and gains experience he has all the talent to become a point getting, shifty forward at the next level.
