Often seen as the top goalie in the HEO, Nate Galbraith is everything a team would want in a goalie. He moves like a cat in the net, utilizing his great speed to come up with huge saves for his team. Galbraith is a goalie who will grow, it is simply in his genetics, which is always a huge plus for a goaltender, and another added bonus that could compliment his speed well. Galbraith is a quieter player, and fairly hard to read, but brings a contagious amount of confidence out on the ice, where his team will play a more offensive style of game with him in nets, as they know he will make the save. Galbraith is a very hard competitor, who can maintain movement and quite literally steal a game on any given night. He is very calm and focused and can refocus quickly, while also serving as an excellent shootout goalie. Galbraith could look to work on his rebound control, as well as figuring out when the right time to drop into a butterfly is, as he can be caught up high by the top snipers in the league if he does. This is why Galbraith is working on developing a more hybrid style of play. In addition, Galbraith was recently selected first overall in the 2021 CCHL Bantam Prospect Draft by the Brockville Braves, a huge honour for a goalie. There is no doubt that Galbraith is a top goalie in this draft, and while he will be drafted a bit later purley due to his position, Galbraith could very much develop into an OHL caliber goalie later on down the line.
