A big, smart player, left winger Nathan Aspinall is a player with high offensive upside for the 2022 OHL draft. He has a good shot, great hands, and is a pretty decent skater that sees the ice very well. All around a very decent player. One of the biggest concerns for Aspinall is his competitiveness. Aspinall needs to start going into the corners for the puck battles, as well as continue to compete throughout the full game. Other than that, Aspinall really has no real weaknesses to write about, while also not really having one true skill that outweighs the other, making for a very balanced player. While it is uncertain where Aspinall ranks regarding the draft, he could be another player that goes sometime in the mid to late rounds. At this point, it’s a low risk, high reward pick for a team, and should definitely be looked at as the draft grows closer.
