Nicholas Petrut is a little guy with lots of skill. And while he may be small now, both of his parents are on the taller side, so he will grow. Petrut is known for his playmaking ability, where he sports elite vision and an amazing hockey IQ. Petrut is a shifty player that can strip a puck easily off of an opponent. He pretty much eats, sleeps, and breathes hockey, while also playing soccer as well, which is great for keeping him active and fit. Petrut has great patience, and is very good at letting the play unfold, however he has a tendency to over handle the puck sometimes. Not a huge issue, but it could be tinkered with. As Petrut grows, he will only get faster and stronger, and his skills will only continue to improve. With this, Petrut could rise in the 2022 OHL draft stock as he improves, where he could become a playmaking winger in the OHL, and possibly be a very good playmaker because of his vision and IQ. Only time will tell, but the future could be a bright one for Petrut.
