One of the best goal scoring defencemen in the 2021 OHL Draft pool, Nick Brady utilizes his cannon of a shot to perfection. Brady has an absolute cannon of a shot and is not afraid to use it. Brady excels at blasting the puck on the net while walking the blue line, but can also shoot with pinpoint precision when up close and personal. Brady is a strong player, able to lay out hard hits along the boards, and wins battles easily by muscling players off the puck. Brady also excels at protecting the front of the net, keeping it clear from screeners. A fantastic overall athlete Brady moves well and has the natural abilities scouts are looking for. Brady still has work to do in terms of moving the puck and positioning as currently he can be turnover prone when controlling the puck. While still fairly raw, Brady is an exceptional prospect to have and could be developed into a special talent in the near future. With a fantastic goal scoring ability and elite size and strength, Nick Brady has a high ceiling. If he is able to keep learning the game and become stronger at reading the ice and making clean passes, Nick Brady could be an electrifying defencemen to watch at the next level.
