Comparable to someone like Notre Dame’s Dylan St. Cyr, Noah Schacht is on the smaller end of the goalie pool, standing at about 5’7. However, don’t let his small size fool you, as Schacht is actually quite the goalie. Due to being so small, Schacht relies heavily on his speed in the net, and can get around quickly. He has an extremely high compete level and is capable of making the big saves, and can keep the momentum of the game up as it draws on. Schacht plays very well post to post, utilizing his speed to move back and forth. As well as all of this, Schacht is also very confident in his abilities as a goalie. Obviously, the biggest downside is his size, even if it isn’t a downside for the teams. Teams tend to avoid smaller goalies, as the new breed of 6’0-6’5 goalies are starting to take over, however if Schacht can grow, the sky's the limit for him, as if given the chance, he could go far. Hopefully for Schacht, this ends up being the case, but if not, he could sadly find himself getting passed over by many clubs and become a later round pick. Only time will tell, but if all goes right, Schacht could impress a lot of people and could help to change the way that people see goalies in today's day and age.
