A high power forward, Nolan Caruso, is a player who could very likely go on to dominate the game at the AAA level. At just 14, Caruso is already standing at 6’6 and is capable of putting his massive frame to good use on the ice, where he absolutely dominates his opponents in the corners and in front of the net. Despite his size, Caruso is also a very good skater, and has very soft hands as well. As of now, Caruso is really working on learning on how to stay fully and reliably competitive at all times, there is no doubt that this is something that can come with age. His self-discipline extends to off-ice training activities and his focus on maintaining an 85% grade average. Regarding the draft, it is really unknown when Caruso could see himself going, but most if not all of the OHL teams should have an eye on Caruso as the rounds go on. Every team would love to have a big body who can skate and has great puck handling ability, and especially someone who isn’t afraid to go into the hairy areas and battle of the puck. Caruso is certainly a player to watch over the next year and a bit, as he could really start making a name for himself leading up to the draft. Only time will tell, but for Caruso, the future looks bright.
