Amongst some of the most elite forwards in the 2022 OHL draft, Parker Forlin is fresh off of a monstrous 18 point campaign in the playoffs, as well as a 42 point campaign in the regular season. Best described as a Cole Perfetti type of forward, Forlin makes up for his smaller size with a wicked skillset. Forlin has blazing speed and an extremely powerful shot, which has allowed him to be over a goal per game in his past two seasons. Forlin almost glides down the ice when he has the puck on his stick, and with amazing playmaking abilities, he is a pass or shoot player, making him extremely deceptive in what he might do, which has helped him appear in a handful of GOJHL games over the course of the season. Forlin is also extremely tenacious and drives the puck hard, shrugging away opponents when he finally gets to it. His ability to make his teammates better is what truly makes him shine, however, as every time he steps on the ice, the game will sway in his team's favour. Forlin works to set up his teammates for wicked opportunities, and sometimes will get the puck back for an absolute ripper at the net. Forlin is currently working on further improving his already bullet of a shot and high acceleration speeds, making him a truly deadly offensive force for any team's future plans. This could see Forlin moving towards being more of a winger in the OHL, where he could use his skills to become a fast, scoring winger at the next level.
