Ryan Cronheimer is a defenceman that possesses strong vision. Ryan’s able to anticipate moves due to his ability to read plays well. Ryan strengths shine offensively. He is smart with the puck allowing him to consistently make strong passes. Ryan also displays his intelligence when breaking out of his own end due to his ability to make that first pass out. Ryan has been focused on improving his shot and he is working to get better at controlling opponents out in front of the net. Cronheimer has more of a pass-first playmaking mentality and he is more likely to set up a goal than score it, this should allow him to grow into a strong playmaker in the OHL.
