Trent Ledrew is a strong defender that showcases intelligence and skill. Trent uses his hockey IQ to effectively hold the blueline and make good decisions. Trent has been able to display his agility through his strong skating. Trent uses his skating and sense to get up on plays quickly and make crisp passes. Trent is able to get away from players better than most in his age group given his ability to be deceptive. He is a supportive teammate both on and off the ice and was named to the All Star team. Ledrew could work on becoming more offensive to help his team drive the puck up the ice. Ledrew is dedicated to the game and his talent should allow for a smooth transition to the OHL.
