A player with under the radar skill Zach Sheppard is a physical player with a scoring touch. Zach is an old school player who looks to belong in the 1980’s-90’s. He hits a ton and sets a physical tone for himself and his team. In the offensive zone, Zach shines. He wins puck battles down low and thrives from the hash marks. He has a wicked shot but also excellent vision that allows him to find an open teammate. His scoring ability is quickly developing as his shot gets better and better. If he sees any open room you can bet he’s putting it there. Zach also backchecks hard and breaks up plays before opponents can set up often using his strength to force opponents off the puck. In the defensive zone Zach supports his teammates and is a reliable winger in his own zone. He is known to force the play outside and be a pest of sorts to opponents forwards. Zach is still growing and as he continues to fill into his body and grow his physical play he has the foundation to be a goal scoring physical forward at the next level.
