Two-way centers are crucial for any team's success. Someone who can drive the play offensively but also limit scoring chances against is crucial. Nathan Cunningham gives his Cambridge team that every shift. Starting offensively Nathan loves to drive down the wing and use his wicked shot to put the puck into the twine. Using his elite speed and stick handling skills he glides through opponents with ease and gets into the slot, seemingly without breaking a sweat. Without the puck he uses his vision to find soft spots in the defensive zone to get open and bang home goals. In his own zone he plays a very responsible game, making sure he covers for defenders and picks up the open man he clearly makes an impact in lowering opponent scoring chances. Nathan is actively working on developing his hockey IQ and playmaking skills which will continue to have him on pace to one day be a star at the next level. On his team Nathan is crucial on the powerplay and often is atop his team in powerplay goals. As Nathan continues to play and work hard both on and off the ice, he will easily transition to the next level.
