Ryan Forwell is a diligent 200ft player. Forwell’s compete level allows him to succeed in both ends of the ice because he is consistently working hard in all zones. Ryan uses his high hockey sense to read, understand, and anticipate plays. Ryan demonstrates a strong two-way game and plays a physically and skilled game. Forwell is a smooth skater, with good edges and high speed, allowing him to carry the puck and make crisp passes. While he does compete well in all areas, Ryan is constantly working on improving his skating, to get a faster first step, and his shot while on the rush. Once Forwell is able to consistently be aggressive and win puck battles, he should be able to make an impact playing at the next stage.
