A rapidly developing prospect, Rylan Donovan has been increasingly improving his game at a high level and is beginning to make a name for himself going into the next level. Quickly maturing physically, Donovan has shot up in height and length and this only adds to his naturally athletic playstyle. With this added size Donovan is hard to beat wide, and can take aways several scoring angles from shooters. Donovan is a fast player, able to make quick movements and can shift easily from one side of the crease to the other. Due to his high compete level, Donovan never gives up on a play, always ready to react and adapt to any second chance attempt or high difficulty save scenario. Donovan continues to develop his game as a result of his dedication and passion for the sport, constantly looking at how he can make the leap to the next level. While Donovan has a great skill set we still need to see more of him moving forward. Donovan will need to put together a complete season as a reliable goaltender and showcase his fantastic upside for all scouts to see. If Donovan can continue to work on his skill set, and continue to grow, Donovan will become a solid netminder at the next level.
