Zack Lewis is an offensive threat. Zack is an elite skater that is able to beat players in open ice on 1 on 1 scenarios or take the puck into open ice and bring a lot of pressure onto defenders to either draw penalties or give him space. Zack also has a wicked shot, specifically his release. Not many players in Lewis’s age group are able to shoot and release the puck like him; he is not only very dangerous within 15ft of the net, but beyond that range as well. Lewis  gets the puck off his stick quickly and combined with his smooth skating skills, he is often able to catch goalies off guard and score, additionally, he creates rebound opportunities for his teammates. With time, he will start to become a more physical player and learn to use his frame more to protect the puck and incorporate power into his game. Zack’s game is improving as are his offensive zone reads and he’s learning to generate more from offensive zone sets so that he can become even more threatening in the offensive zone. Lewis plays a creative game and once he is able to use his body more he will be a power forward that should see success on an OHL team.
