The Prospects by Sports Illustrated Internship Program

Now accepting applications for roles in Sports Media, Sports Marketing, Event Management and Journalism.

Stefan Forgione is a deadly player on the ice, not just because of his offensive skill but because of his physical game. Forgione is a dominant two-way forward capable of scoring highlight-reel goals, and laying out monster hits. A major aspect of his game comes from his speed. Forgione may not be the biggest player on the ice but he sure plays like it using his strength and speed to his advantage at both ends of the ice. Forgione is a dangerous player on the forecheck and opponents hate to look up and see #87 zoning in when they have the puck. He uses his speed at both ends of the ice to win footraces and blaze around defenders.

Versatility is a major aspect of Forgione’s game. On the attack, there is no role that Forgione cannot handle. He excels at positioning himself in front of the net to generate offence. He can deflect shots, get pucks off of his stick quickly, and perform extremely difficult dekes to embarrass them. Since suiting up with many of his new teammates during the Elite Hockey Events September showcase, Stefan Forgione is already looking to add an electrifying presence to an already dynamic squad.
