Tyler Borgula is a name to keep an eye on. He plays a fast-paced game and possesses a high-end skill set that will aid him as he advances to the next level. As one of the few top-American prospects that doesn’t have a commitment to an NCAA school, Borgula could be a player that OHL teams will be keeping tabs on. 

 

He is known for having his name on the scoresheet with his play in front of the net. While, he may not be the biggest player on the ice, but he is definitely hard to push around. He always finds a way to sneak in around the net and find pucks in traffic to poke in goals. A great net front presence is not all Borgula has to offer as his strong playmaking abilities are likely a result of his vision and on-ice awareness. 

 

Borgula has the skills necessary to take the puck from end-to-end, but still is a team player. He knows what he needs to do and where he needs to be to assist his team. His focus is on the team success rather than on his individual performance. He is a real leader on the ice as he is always looking for where he needs to be and assessing the best way in which he could help his teammates. In terms of his on-ice abilities, his skating is one of his major assets and when combined with his elusive puck-handling
