I started playing hockey at the age of 5 and quickly transitioned into a defenseman playing at various levels throughout my minor hockey career. I’m a native of Newmarket, Ontario, a 1988 OHL draft selection for the North Bay Centennials accompanied by a 4-year playing career with the Markham Waxers COJHL. I’ve been coaching with the Brampton Hockey Organization at various ages and levels for the past 12 years. In addition to my coaching and playing experience, I like to bring great enthusiasm, and a sense of humour and enable players to be accountable in an enjoyable learning environment. I pride myself on continued learning of the game, the motivation, and teaching of the high performing athletes to achieve their goals by playing at their highest competitive level possible.
