Austin Fellinger is a right-handed, defensive minded defenseman. Fellinger is a dependable player that provides a steady presence on the back end with strong defensive awareness. He displays strong vision, allowing him to make the right plays and be in the right position. Austin plays very well in his own zone, wins puck battles, and has a great first pass. The offensive side doesn’t come as natural, but as he continues in his growth and comfort Austin will hopefully use his powerful skating skills to join the rush more often. There is a strong upside with Fellinger and as long as he is willing to put in the work to refine his skills, he has potential to make it far in his hockey career.
