Regarded as one of the best on the faceoff dot in this year's OHL Draft class, Charlie Blewett is set to make a name for himself moving forward in his hockey career. A top center in the ETA, Blewett excels at winning faceoffs in a multitude of in-game situations and excels at setting up teammates for easy shots on net. Blewett may not be the biggest player, but his athleticism is superb. A lightning fast skater, Blewett uses his speed to zip around the ice, putting himself in great scoring opportunities, as well as uses it to draw defenders attention away from trailing linemates in transition. Blewett is also an incredibly strong player for his size, able to muscle his way past opposing players for loose pucks, and is able to hold his own while fighting for the puck down low or along the boards. Blewett still has time to develop physically and will need to continue doing so to keep up with the physical style of play that lays ahead of him at the junior level. Blewett will also look to increase his scoring ability moving forward as his bread and butter still remains his playmaking ability. If Blewett can become as lethal at scoring the puck himself as he is at assisting others to light the lamp, he could develop into a special player.
