A very speedy forward, left shooting Keanan Hodgson, is basically the Roadrunner on the ice. Hodgson plays the whole game at high speeds, where he displays very strong skating skills with great pace and top end speed. Hodgson has been improving on his offensive game immensely as he continues to grow, only adding a new level to his game. Hodgson is one of the most intense forecheckers around as well, and is almost always the first player to the puck. Hodgson is a relentless backchecker who forces turnovers in both the offensive and defensive zone.  He is also an aggressive and physical player who is not afraid to battle in dirty areas and with his determination he wins puck battles. Hodgson is a very coachable player, and is also one of those players who always strives to be his best and is constantly looking to improve his game further. While it is way too soon to tell for sure, Hodgson could see himself going in the mid rounds of the draft in 2022, where he could translate his current game to the next level. Hodgson already plays a very power forward-like style of game, and would be able to translate that nicely to the OHL, using his great speed to tear down the ice on a forecheck, and helping set up his teammates for a potentially crucial goal. If it ain’t broke, why fix it. For Hodgson, the best thing he can do is to continue to improve on his game even more, and take himself to even newer heights in his game
