Being feared with the puck is something all teams watch, being seen as a top forward in your league is always a confidence boost and a good sign you have what it takes to the next level. Quinn McNamara has that but also is feared without the puck as a very physical forward who always finishes his checks. Being a top powerforward in Alliance hockey, Quinn can do everything offensively. From passing the puck to an open teammate and scoring goals from the slot to forechecking hard and getting to the dirty areas he is a dynamic player that catches your eyes from shift to shift. He is quickly using his high hockey IQ to play a more 200ft game and is dedicated to perfecting it. He is incredibly smart in the classroom and he uses this to his advantage on the ice, seeing and listening to everyone around him and trying to apply it to his game. Quinn is also working with a top power skating instructor to improve his skating, something most powerforwards struggle with. This will undoubtedly allow him to improve his two-way game as it’ll allow him to stay offensive minded and get back quicker than anyone else to cover defensively. As Quinn puts all the pieces together and he undoubtedly will, it’s a no brainer to predict he’ll be an impact player at the next level.
