A great goaltender prospect, Hodges is one of the top netminders in the ETA and could continue his top tier play into the next level. Hodges is fundamentally sound, possessing a poised and mature game for his age. Hodges has a high hockey IQ, rarely making mistakes between the pipes. Hodges best attribute may be his superb rebound control, able to redirect shots away from the opposition and into safe areas on the ice for his teammates to have a chance to gather the puck and regain possession. Hodges has great vision for the puck, nearly impossible to beat on straight ahead shots. With this vision and strong hand-eye, Hodges athleticism also makes him stand out from the crowd. Hodges easily stretches across the crease on tape-to-tape feeds making difficult saves on a nightly basis. Hodges stands currently at five-foot-eleven, which is solid for the time being, but scouts will be anxious to see if he continues to grow and become a more naturally gifted player with an increase in height and length. Hodges is a dedicated and determined player and as he continues to grow as a player, his advancement in physical maturity and increase in his ever growing skillset will follow suit. Overall, if his game keeps up, Hodges could be a solid asset to an OHL franchise in the coming years.
