One of the best goalies within the OMHA, Andrew Claughton has been holding it down between the pipes for his entire career. A superb athlete, Claughton is able to make jaw-dropping saves on a regular basis, able to move well within the crease and make quick moves in order to prevent scoring chances against his team. Claughton has a sky-high compete level, never giving up on a play, let-alone a game. Claughton has top-tier talent as a netminder, able to make moves and decisions that are far beyond most other 05’ goaltender prospects. Claughton impresses scouts everywhere he plays, with a technically sound game Claughton rarely makes mistakes when positioning himself on the ice, showcasing a solid hockey IQ and mindset for the game. Claughton's positioning game is strong, able to play angles extremely well and take away any scoring chances instantly. Claughton is tremendous at playing off of rebounds, able to make second and third saves due to his high drive as well as top notch athleticism.
