One of the top players on the Southern Tier Admirals, Andrew Kennedy is competitive, hard working, and a natural leader. Kennedy is more of a proper playmaker at heart, with amazing on ice vision and patience, which allows him to complete some amazing plays. Kennedy is a very loyal, humble, and unselfish player, and thus would be more likely to pass the puck off to his teammates instead of being a puck hog. This helped Kennedy amass a total of 13 assists and 6 goals during the regular season, as well as a further 4 assists during the playoffs as well. Kennedy’s play certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed either, as he was able to get the call for both the U18 squad and the GOJHLs St. Catharines Falcons. Kennedy tries to model his game after Joel Farabee, and really connects with his ability to scan the ice for the first passing option. Kennedy is looking to use his GOJHL and U18 experience to help him reach the OHL at the 2022 draft, making him confident about making the step to the next level. Kennedy is actively working on his skating and his physical game more, which will further help him reach his OHL goals, where after a few years of development, Kennedy could step in as a reliable bottom 6 member of his respective team.
