One of the top producers for the Waterloo Wolves this season, with 15 goals and 21 assists, for 36 points in 27 games, Brayden Stumpf is poised to get his name written down as a team's draft selection in the 2022 OHL draft. Stumpf is a guy who can generate a lot of offense for his team, thanks to his high work ethic, strong skating, and high level hockey IQ. Stumpf also displays a very well rounded 200 foot game, which has helped him find a comparable in Patrice Bergeron, with both being very reliable two-way centres who can put up a lot of points. Stumpf is a very diligent person, and is known to lead by example, making him the perfect guy to have in the room. This offseason, Stumpf is aiming to work on growing bigger and stronger, which will get him more on par with the competition he will be facing at the next level. Stumpf could potentially see himself going amongst the higher rounds of the draft, where after a year or two of development, he could step in as a middle six centreman for his draft team, while also being able to play on the special teams units as well.
