Similar to someone like Brady Tkachuk, left winger, Alex Colangelo, is certainly a hardheaded player. Colangelo skates well, and has a decent shot to go with it. The biggest thing Colangelo brings to the table, however, is his toughness and hard nosed play style. He is not afraid to hit, and is routinely found digging in the corner for the puck. Colangelo is fast and smart, and is reliable defensively, playing on the team's penalty killing unit as well. Despite all of the skill, Colangelo suffers from inconsistency and his work ethic. While he is still young, both are understandable, however if he truly wants to succeed, he will have to start working on both. Colangelo could see himself going sometime in the mid rounds, where he could step in for an OHL club as a hard hitting power forward, certainly a luxury any team would want to have.
