An extremely lethal offensive threat, Beckett Ewart recently was able to be named to the top 50 OHL draft prospects. Ewart displays extreme offensive instincts, making him a dangerous player any time he steps on the ice. This couples nicely with his intelligence, as Ewart is capable of reading the play extremely well, which helps him with his playmaking abilities. This offensive prowess has helped Ewart become the highest point getter on the Red Devils, as well as cementing himself amongst the top of the league itself. Ewart is someone who has really grown during the time off from the game, and it is likely he could continue growing further. Ewart would benefit greatly from working on both his strength and footwork, which would allow him to become more shifty and dominant in the offensive zone. Penalties are almost non-existent, as Ewart has recorded very few over the course of the year, making him someone you would not have to worry about overly much in that aspect of the game. With the 2022 OHL draft coming up, expect to see Ewart go amongst the higher rounds of the draft, where he can transition to the OHL as a playmaking winger, who can use his intelligence and instincts to constantly set up his teammates for big goals. The future is definitely bright for this young winger, so keep an eye on him.
