Amongst the highest skilled players on the Halton Hurricanes, Braydon Hobson is coming off a solid 21 point season, as well as a 6 point playoff, which resulted in a point per game pace. Hobson is a guy who drives hard to the net, and is willing to dig and battle to win in puck battles. Hobson is also a guy with an excellent set of wheels, which he couples well with his shooting accuracy, making him capable of picking corners with the best of them. While Hobson is insanely skilled, this can get him into trouble as he can over handle the puck. Hobson has been encouraged to keep it simple, and is learning that not everything has to be super flashy, but sometimes he just has to make a simple shot instead of trying to weave between the defenders. With the 2022 OHL draft approaching, Hobson could see himself going somewhere amongst the middle rounds, where he could develop into a reliable middle 6 play driving centreman, who can put his skill and tenacity to good work in pushing the game in his team's favour.
