After a solid first year in AAA, Cody Torraville has his eyes set on the OHL draft in 2022. Prior to the Covid-19 season, Torraville was still grinding away in AA, but has since made the jump up to AAA and has fit right in. Torraville spent most of his season alongside the team's top defensemen, where he served as an excellent partner. Torraville is a more offensive guy, being able to jump up into the rush, utilizing his good skating to keep up with the others. Torraville also packs a good shot and great smarts, which landed him on the teams first power play unit due to his patience with the puck. Though Torraville is not the biggest defenseman, he is extremely strong as well, though he would benefit highly from bulking up further and hopefully adding a couple more inches in height. Torraville will likely be a guy who finds himself slipping in the draft towards the middle to later rounds, where he would likely take a couple seasons before stepping into the OHL as a bottom 4 defenseman. Definitely keep your eyes on Torraville.
