Left shooting forward, Dominic DiFrancesco, is not necessarily an immediate head turner for the draft. His skating isn’t necessarily the prettiest and he’s not a big player, but where he lacks in those areas, he makes up in other places. DiFrancesco’s strength lies in his IQ. He is a great passer and his IQ and vision are ten out of ten. Described as an absolute rink rat, DiFrancesco is a very smart player on the ice, and is really good at anticipating the play and is excellent at finding newer ways of attack. DiFrancesco has a pretty good shot and is a pretty good stickhandler as well. DiFrancesco is one of those players that you really need to watch over and over again to really appreciate him however. For DiFrancesco, the most important thing is for him to work on his skillset as a whole, but especially his skating. DiFrancesco has all the other skills to develop into a good playmaking winger, however he needs to become a better skater before he can really start to take off.
