An extremely athletic goalie, Eamon Callaghan, is seemingly a goalie that could make the next step and potentially snag himself a draft spot for the 2022 OHL draft. Callaghan is a hyper competitive goalie with very good physical strength, and has a natural ability for tracking the puck down. As Callaghan continues to grow older, he will grow in both the mental and physical departments as well, which are two extremely important components for any goalie to have. Callaghan will also grow smarter, and will be working much more on his technical and tactical skills as the draft grows closer. These are the best things for him to be working at this current moment in time, as the most important part for a goalie is getting the technical stuff down before they can even think about going to the next level. Even though the draft is still 2 years away, Callaghan is looking like he could have serious upside in the goalie department, and could make himself a solid case to make the leap to the next level if he continues on the pace he’s going. Only time will tell, however the future could be bright if an OHL club decides to take a run at him in next year's draft.
