Ethan Alexander is the definition of a playmaker. With phenomenal hands, wonderful vision and above average passing skills Ethan can find passes unlike most young forwards. Starting in the offensive end of the ice, Ethan creates room for his teammates. He protects the puck well and can use his hands to skate around with the puck to find dangerous passing lanes. He makes everyone around him better and though he is a playmaker also has a solid shot. Ethan forechecks hard and battles down low to win puck battles. He is a valued member of his teams powerplay setting up his teammates for easy goals and creating crafty plays. On the defensive part of the game Ethan is still developing but is no liability. He uses his speed to backcheck and has very strong stickwork. Using his stick he wills the puck off his opponent and turns it around for a quick breakout. In his own end he uses his stick to break up passing lanes and forces the play to the outside. Ethan has all the tools to become a talented playmaker at the next level and as he grows his two-way game will only get better.
