Serving as a middle of the pack player for the Brantford 99ers, Gabriel Chiarot has a very well rounded offensive toolbox. His offensive talents are what helped him step in for 5th in team points, with 27 (11G 16A in 24 GP). Chiarot is a very solid skater, has amazing puck skills, and a good shot. Chiarot is also known to go into the grittier areas of the ice and battle for the puck, making him the ideal player to have as an offensive forechecker. Chiarot has also been recognized for his abilities through his special teams play, where he runs the second power play unit. While he has an amazing set of skills at his disposal, Chiarot will likely be a mid to later round pick, where he may need to take a couple seasons to work on his pace a bit more. Once that development period is over, however, Chiarot could step into the OHL as a bottom 6, checking forward, who can use his speed and size to drive the play, while also using his shot to bury the puck as a solid depth scorer.
