Honeybaked
Coming from the famous Honeybaked program, defenceman Sean Smith has been making a name for himself. The 2005 born defenceman is a key piece on Honeybaked’s blue-line and can be a strong addition on the power-play. Smith is an excellent puck-mover with great playmaking abilities. Smith sees the ice very well and goes a great job identifying passing lanes to find his teammates with great stretch passes. Smith is a big-bodied defender with underrated speed. When he joins the rush, Smith is often overlooked as a dangerous offensive force. He can turn on the jets and uses his size and long stride to get to the offensive zone with control of the puck before creating a play. As an American in the HPHL, Sean Smith may find himself taken later in the draft unless he commits to playing major junior hockey in the OHL.
